Carry On

January 16, 2012

Hello, Friends! I can’t thank you enough for your enthusiastic words about my big news. You had me grinning from ear to ear!

I’m flying to Salt Lake City today and crossing my fingers there will be lots of snow. Here in Normandy, we haven’t had a single flake all winter! I’ll be carrying-on the handsome grey felt bag above. Isn’t it fantastic? My friends, Audrey & Nick, picked it up on a trip to Japan and gave it to me for Christmas. What a gift! Apparently, these bags are so popular, the store can’t keep them in stock. I think it’s perfect for Alt Summit.

Will I see you there? Please come say hello!

P.S. — For those of you who have never traveled to the land of Mormons, I hear this book is a great introduction to life in Utah.

Love the bag, LOVE. Enjoy Alt Summit. Also, checking out the book.

Enjoy the snow, we’ve not had much/any where I am in Central England either :( My baby’s first Northern Winter and no snow (I’m an Aussie, so snow is still a huge novelty even after years of living in England).

Had to catch up a bit with your blog as a newcomer so congrats on your big news and hope you have a safe trip to Salt Lake City! I LOVE that bag! No snow here in London… frost, frost, and more frost is all we get!

Oh my gosh that bag is gorgeous! I fly to Florida tomorrow morning and I wish I were carrying such a chic carry-on bag! Mine is likely to be a small duffel bag borrowed from my son :) Have a great time in Utah. Safe travels!

You should come to Montreal, then. We are having loads of snow and enjoying every second of it!
However, no Alt Summit here. So off to Utah with you. I’m anticipating lots of fantastic pictures of amazing people dressed up in white.
Have a safe trip!

It’s snowing lightly here in Vancouver where it rarely snows. More rain than snow usually!

I’ll be there at Alt in a few days – my first blog conference. Very excited to meet you and others too. I’m the “little engine that could” blog (just started a few weeks ago). It’s been great fun…see you in a few days!

That bag is so cute. It looks a lot like one at my cousin’s shop in Tokyo.

Enjoy time in Utah – I’m here now, and it snowed enough that we had to shovel the driveway. The air looks clean again.

I love the bag. I wonder how well felt holds up . . . you’ll have to report on it in a year!

Enjoy Alt! I hope there’s snow for you… sadly, it was our first storm today… and none of it really did stick in the valley.
