Bus Riding 101 Workshop
March 28, 2011 -- Do you ride the bus often, but have questions about transfers and the SmarTrip card? Or maybe you've never ridden the bus before and would like to learn how to read a schedule and find out which bus to take. Attend this free workshop about riding the bus and get all of your questions answered!
A Metro representative will lead the workshop and talk about:
- Finding the best route for you
- How to read a bus schedule
- The benefits of using the SmarTrip Card
- Budgeting ideas and how to plan cost effective bus trips
- How to pay fare on the bus and add money to a SmarTrip Card
- Free bus transfers and how to use them
- Discount programs for seniors and persons with disabilities
We will then go for a ride on a Metrobus to a local retailer to learn how to add money to SmarTrip cards and buy Weekly Bus Passes.
